Committee Chair(Fundraising, Conference Planning or Home Development)
- Is a member of the board
- Leads the effort of the committee’s goal
- Sets tone for the committee work
- Ensures that members have the information needed to do their jobs
- Oversees the logistics of committee’s operations
- Reports to the board President
- Reports to the full board on committee’s decisions/recommendations
- Assigns work to the committee members, sets the agenda and runs the meetings
- Ensures that meeting minutes are kept and then distribute
- Initiates and leads the committee’s annual evaluation or limited task completion
- Responds to communication directed to Committee Chair ideally within 48 hours or a maximum of 72 hours, or requests that another board member do this
